OnFinality Provides Hosting and API Services to OAK Network

OnFinality, Polkadot’s leading blockchain infrastructure provider, is delighted to announce our partnership with OAK Network, the Web3 hub for DeFi and payment automation. OAK Network will leverage OnFinality’s Enhanced API Service and Public Network Marketplace to allow their ecosystem to easily access the OAK Network or deploy dedicated nodes in a matter of minutes.

Chris Li, the Co-Founder and CEO of Oak Network commented, “OnFinality’s hosting and API gateway solutions allow our team to build with peace of mind — the services are reliable, powerful, and go a long way in taking care of our technical pipeline. I believe as our network grows, OnFinality will serve our community well as a trusted and quality infrastructure partner.”

OnFinality’s mission is to support all blockchain organisations in the world by providing critical infrastructure so they can focus on their core businesses. By leveraging on OnFinality’s infrastructure expertise the development team at OAK can focus on building an efficient, stable, and flexible automation network.

This was echoed by Irsal McGinnis, the Co-Founder of OAK Network, “We chose to partner with OnFinality so our engineering team can focus on building our core technology. Their service has impressive observability for Substrate-based nodes, and their team has delivered conscientious and speedy support through our partnership process.”

OnFinality works collaboratively with each of its partners to provide infrastructure guidance and support and is one of the reasons why every Polkadot parachain team has relied on OnFinality to provide scalable API services from the first block.

In OAK Network’s case the validators and nominators for the network will now be able to access high performance shared nodes through OnFinality with minimal setup and hardware requirements. This partnership will enable the OAK community to help collators and nominators earn OAK staking rewards using OnFinality’s click-to-deploy node services.

OAK and OnFinality share the goal of providing fundamental building blocks for the web3 future. We are excited to see the progress they are making on extending and augmenting EVM capability on Polkadot and are impressed by their team’s capability and expertise — Sam Zou, Founder of OnFinality.

You can access the new Enhanced API service for the OAK network via wss://neumann.api.onfinality.io/public-ws, in PolkadotJS, or through app.onfinality.io

About OAK Network

OAK (On-chain Autonomous Kernel) Network is a blockchain automation hub for DeFi and payments built on Parity Substrate with a first of it’s kind event-driven execution model. This model enables transactions to be triggered by event signals such as time, price, and smart contract state changes. Importantly, this differs from traditional architectures utilized by Ethereum, Bitcoin, and other popular chains where multiple transactions require repeated private key signing. With this novel design, OAK can empower any connected blockchain with autonomous functionality unleashing endless potential for our partners.

By offering on-chain automation not possible today such as advanced order execution for AMM DEXs and recurring payments, we aim to be a top tier utility Layer-2 solution and build the next Stripe for Web3.
